What it does
When you ask the agent to map the people involved in a project or launch, it sorts each stakeholder by how much power they have over decisions and how much they are affected by or engaged with the work. It then places them in a four-part grid and suggests how often and through which channel to communicate with each group, what to tell them, and what risks come from ignoring them. It can also flag groups whose goals conflict and suggest how to align them, and save the result as a markdown document.
Great for
- Product managers preparing a launch or coordinating cross-functional teams
- Project leads who need a clear engagement plan for executives, engineers, sales, and support
- Anyone new to a initiative who wants a quick structured view of who matters and why
Skip it if
- Sensitive personnel or political assessments, since the output is a judgement about named people that may be inaccurate or hurtful if shared widely
- Very small projects with only one or two people, where a grid adds little value
- Situations needing legal or regulatory stakeholder analysis, because the skill applies a general framework and does not check legal obligations
Try asking
- “Build a stakeholder map for our new checkout redesign launch in the next quarter”
- “Create a communication plan for executives, engineering leads, and support for our API deprecation”
- “Help me identify stakeholders with conflicting interests on our pricing change and suggest alignment steps”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Provide an org chart, project brief, or team roster so the agent can base the map on real names and roles instead of guesses
- Review the power and interest ratings yourself, since the agent infers them from limited context
- Treat the saved markdown as a working draft and update it as stakeholder positions change
