What it does
When installed, the agent reviews and writes Spring Boot code with security in mind: authentication (JWT, sessions), method-level authorization, input validation, SQL injection prevention, password hashing with BCrypt or Argon2, CSRF, CORS, security headers, secret handling, rate limiting and dependency CVE scanning. It follows the skill's written checklist and code examples, which show 'bad' and 'good' patterns. The skill is written in Spanish. It is guidance only and does not run any tools itself.
Great for
- Java developers building or maintaining Spring Boot REST APIs
- Teams doing a security review of an existing Spring Boot service
- Developers who want a quick checklist before adding login or user input endpoints
Skip it if
- Non-Java projects, since it only covers Spring Boot and Spring Security (the examples would not apply directly)
- Treating it as a full security audit: it gives general patterns and does not test your actual code or configuration, so it can miss project-specific flaws
Try asking
- “Review my Spring Boot controller for missing authorization checks before I deploy it”
- “Add JWT authentication with a OncePerRequestFilter to my Spring Boot API”
- “Check my application.yml for hardcoded secrets and suggest environment variable placeholders”
- “Set up CORS and security headers in my Spring Security configuration”

Add it to your agent
Claude Code (all projects)
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip springboot-security.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)
mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip springboot-security.zip -d .claude/skills/Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Ask the agent to apply the checklist to a specific file or endpoint rather than the whole project, so the review stays focused
- Verify generated security configuration (CSRF, CORS origins, authorization rules) with your own tests, since examples are generic
- Note that the examples disable CSRF for stateless token APIs; confirm this matches your architecture before copying it
