What it does
This skill guides an AI agent through moving an already-finished academic paper to a different conference or journal under strict limits: no new experiments, no bibliography edits, no framework changes, and no overwriting the earlier submission. The agent copies the paper into a new sibling folder, uses prior reviewer reports to make small text edits, and checks the result against a whitelist of allowed changes. It also stops and asks you to decide if reviewer feedback requires new theory or experiments.
Great for
- Researchers with a rejected or withdrawn paper who need to resubmit quickly to another venue
- Authors working under a tight deadline who want text-only revisions guided by reviewer comments
- Users already running the broader ARIS research workflow who need a resubmission step
Skip it if
- Papers that still need new experiments or structural rewrites; use the experiment or paper-writing workflows first, since this skill refuses out-of-scope edits
- Writing a rebuttal letter; the skill itself points to a separate rebuttal workflow for that
- Anyone who cannot supply the prior reviewer reports, since the skill is designed to stop without them
Try asking
- “Resubmit my rejected paper in ./paper to ICML using the reviewer reports in ./reviews”
- “Port this paper to NeurIPS format and tighten it for resubmission under a one-week deadline”
- “重投流程:把论文移植到 AAAI,使用 review-corpus 中的审稿意见”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Gather the three inputs first (polished paper directory, target venue template, review corpus) because the skill blocks without them.
- Review the generated edit whitelist before the agent makes changes, so you can confirm which edits are allowed.
- Keep the original submission directory under version control so you can verify it was not modified.
