What it does
When you ask the agent to answer your latest email, it runs a cookbook script that stores your Granola meeting notes and your Gmail inbox and sent mail in a local memory dataset, then drafts a reply that reflects what you discussed and promised and how you usually write. The draft is printed for you to review; the agent never sends it. If Gmail and Granola aren't set up, it runs on a sample mailbox and says so.
Great for
- Professionals who discuss work in meetings and need faster, on-tone email replies
- People who want to test a memory-based email drafter before connecting their real accounts
Skip it if
- Sending email automatically: the skill is designed to only print a draft, and the user must send it (a fully automated sender would need a different tool)
- Sensitive or legal correspondence where an unreviewed AI draft could misstate commitments; the draft should always be checked by the user
Try asking
- “Reply to my latest email in my own tone, using what we discussed in this week's meetings”
- “Draft an answer to my newest Gmail, using only meetings from the last 7 days”
- “Run the personalized email check and tell me what's missing for Gmail and Granola”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Run with --check first to see exactly which setup item is missing before a full run
- Use --no-granola if you only want the Gmail side, or --days N to limit meeting history
- Use --clear only when you want to erase the personalized_email dataset and start over, since it removes everything stored there
