What it does
Once installed, your agent can use the Paperzilla command-line tool to look at your research projects, browse or search the paper recommendations collected in each project, open a paper's details or markdown text, and export results as JSON or an Atom feed. It can also leave upvote, downvote, or star feedback on recommendations when you ask. It relies on your own Paperzilla account, so it only shows what that account can access.
Great for
- Researchers who already use Paperzilla to track new papers in their fields
- Students or analysts who want their agent to summarize recent recommendations from a project
- Developers building paper-monitoring workflows who need JSON output from the pz CLI
Skip it if
- People without a Paperzilla account, since login and CLI access are required even for some paper lookups in version 0.7.1
- Anyone expecting an anonymous or offline workflow, because it needs network access and a logged-in session
- Automated bulk feedback changes without review, since feedback modifies data in the user's account
Try asking
- “Give me the latest must-read recommendations from my transformers project since March 1.”
- “Search my project feed for 'latent retrieval' and list the starred results.”
- “Fetch canonical paper X as markdown and summarize how it relates to my research.”
- “Export the recommendations for project Y as JSON.”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Run pz login interactively before asking for JSON exports, since expired sessions can produce login prompts in stdout instead of data.
- Review any feedback command before the agent runs it, because it changes your account data.
- Treat an empty feed as possibly an access or upgrade error; ask the agent to report errors rather than assume no results.
