What it does
Once installed, the agent structures its market analysis around 3-5 distinct customer segments for a product or market you name. For each segment it describes size, demographics or firm characteristics, the jobs customers are trying to get done, pain points, desired outcomes, how well your product fits, and the competition they already use. It can also read any research or customer data you provide and flags segments that need more research.
Great for
- Product managers deciding which audience to target first
- Founders evaluating a new market before investing
- Marketers building target audience profiles
- Students learning how market segmentation works
Skip it if
- Hard market sizing or financial forecasting: the skill gives estimates and asks for data, it does not pull verified market figures, so numbers should be checked against real sources
- Replacing primary customer interviews: segments are synthesized from the model's reasoning unless you supply data, so they are hypotheses to validate
Try asking
- “Identify 3-5 customer segments for a B2B invoicing tool for freelancers”
- “Evaluate new market segments for our meal-kit product in Southeast Asia”
- “Who are the target audiences for a no-code form builder, and what jobs do they have?”
- “Teach me how to segment a market for a project management app”

Get better results
- Provide existing research, customer data, or survey results in the conversation so the segments are grounded in evidence rather than assumptions.
- Name the product and market precisely (for example the geography and customer type) so the segmentation criteria are specific.
- Treat size estimates and competitor lists as starting points and verify them with current sources before making decisions.
