What it does

When installed, the agent runs a structured interview that asks you one round of pointed questions at a time, each with a suggested answer, about a repeated activity you want to hand off. It helps you spot routines in your work or life that are predictable enough to automate, then writes each one as a spec file in a workflows folder, and keeps a NOTES.md glossary of your own terms. The skill is designed to produce specs only, not to perform the workflows itself.

Great for

  • People who want to systematically identify routine tasks worth delegating to an AI agent
  • Teams or individuals who already keep a workspace of notes and want structured workflow documentation
  • Anyone who wants an agent to ask probing questions before building an automation

Skip it if

  • Users who want an agent to actually run tasks now: the skill only creates and edits spec files, it does not execute the workflows it describes
  • Quick one-off requests, since the skill expects a long, round-by-round interview that runs until every question is resolved
  • Anyone uncomfortable with the agent writing and deleting files in their workspace without a clear review step

Try asking

  • “Grill me about a workflow for triaging my incoming client emails each morning”
  • “Find recurring loops in my week that I could delegate, and propose a few I haven't noticed”
  • “Design a workflow for turning new GitHub issues into a daily summary brief”
  • “Interview me about my tools and terminology so you can fill in NOTES.md before we specify anything”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Loop Me Workflow DesignerInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 2 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    loop-me.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip loop-me.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip loop-me.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Start with a concrete repeated task rather than asking it to find loops from scratch, since the interview works best with a specific workflow to pressure-test.
  • Keep NOTES.md up to date with your own terms, because the skill sharpens fuzzy language into canonical terms and records them there.
  • Review every created, edited, or deleted file in workflows/ after each session, since the skill is allowed to delete specs as the interview resolves things.
