What it does
Once installed, the agent can look up current job openings on LinkedIn's public job board for any country, city, or remote roles, filtered by keyword, posting age, and workplace type. It can also pull the full description, seniority, and employment type for a specific posting. It does this by running a small bundled TypeScript CLI with Bun, which fetches public LinkedIn pages and returns results as JSON, a table, or plain text. No LinkedIn login or API key is needed.
Great for
- Job seekers who want a quick list of recent openings in a specific city or remotely
- People comparing job postings across several markets without opening many browser tabs
- Developers who want a scriptable, dependency-free job search tool they can adapt
Skip it if
- Bulk scraping, lead generation or commercial use: the skill's own docs say automated access breaches LinkedIn's Terms of Service and should be kept to low personal volume
- Users who lack Bun installed, since the CLI will not run without it
- Applying to jobs or contacting recruiters: the skill only reads listings and does not submit anything
Try asking
- “Find data engineer jobs in Bengaluru posted in the last 30 days”
- “Show remote product manager roles in Berlin as a table”
- “Get the full description for job ID 4426311357”
- “Search for paralegal openings that are fully remote”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Always pass a specific --location and a --query keyword to get focused results and keep request volume low
- Use --jobage or --jobage-minutes (not both) to limit results to recent postings
- Expect occasional rate limiting from LinkedIn; the CLI retries with backoff, so avoid running many searches in a row
