What it does
This skill teaches an AI agent how to manage tasks in Feishu (Lark), the workplace suite by ByteDance. Once installed, the agent can create to-do tasks, check task lists, mark tasks done or reopen them, set reminders and followers, split tasks into subtasks, organise tasks into tasklists and sections, and assign tasks to colleagues. It does this by running the lark-cli command-line tool rather than guessing at the API, and it asks the tool's built-in help for the correct commands and fields before acting.
Great for
- Office workers who keep their to-dos and project tasks in Feishu Tasks
- Team leads who need to assign work and track progress across tasklists
- Developers automating Feishu task workflows through lark-cli
Skip it if
- Action items inside Feishu Minutes or meeting notes, which the skill says should go through the separate lark-meeting skill instead (wrong tool, would create tasks in the wrong place)
- Anyone without a Feishu/Lark account and lark-cli set up with permission to access tasks (the skill cannot work without them)
- Bulk changes to shared tasklists without review, since the agent can add, remove and delete members and tasks on real team data
Try asking
- “Create a task called 'Send Q3 report' due Friday at 5pm and remind me an hour before”
- “Show me the tasks assigned to me that are not yet completed”
- “Assign the 'Website redesign' task to Li Wei and add Zhang San as a follower”
- “Mark task guid abc123 as complete and give me the link”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Name the tasklist or task explicitly, or give its applink, so the agent does not need to search through everything.
- Say 'my tasks' or 'assigned to me' so the agent uses your own user identity; check it is the account you expect.
- Review the results before bulk actions such as removing members or deleting tasks, since these change live team data.
