What it does
When installed, this skill tells an AI coding agent to work like a senior Laravel (PHP framework) engineer. It gives the agent a workflow for creating Eloquent models and relationships, API resources, queued jobs and Horizon queue setup, Sanctum authentication, Livewire components, and Pest or PHPUnit tests. It also supplies code templates and rules such as type hints, eager loading to avoid N+1 queries, and running artisan commands to verify work.
Great for
- PHP developers building or maintaining a Laravel 10+ application who want an agent to write conventional Laravel code
- Teams that want consistent patterns for models, migrations, API resources and tests
- Developers learning Laravel conventions who want examples of queued jobs and feature tests
Skip it if
- Non-developers or projects not using PHP/Laravel, since the guidance is specific to that framework
- Production systems where generated code is merged without review, because the templates are starting points and the agent may produce errors or insecure configuration that needs a human check
Try asking
- “Create an Eloquent Post model with a user relationship, soft deletes and a published scope”
- “Set up a Horizon queue worker and a queued job that retries three times with failed() logging”
- “Build a RESTful API endpoint for posts using an API resource and write a Pest feature test for it”
- “Add Sanctum token authentication to my existing Laravel API”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Point the agent at your existing project so it can run php artisan commands and tests to verify its changes
- Ask for one area at a time (for example models first, then API, then tests) so each step can be reviewed
- Review generated migrations and auth code carefully before running them against real data
