What it does
Once installed, the agent walks through a new product idea from three viewpoints (product manager, designer, engineer) and checks it against eight risk areas: value, usability, viability, feasibility, ethics, go-to-market, strategy and objectives, and team. For each assumption it finds, it rates how confident you should be and suggests a way to test it, then saves the result as a markdown document. It is a structured thinking framework, not a source of market data.
Great for
- Founders or product managers stress-testing a startup or new venture idea before committing money
- Teams preparing a product discovery review who want a checklist of risks beyond usability and feasibility
- Students or first-time founders learning how to structure assumptions and experiments
Skip it if
- Getting real market facts or competitor data: the skill only reasons from the prompt and any files you supply, and it does not browse or verify claims, so its confidence ratings are judgement, not evidence
- Legal, regulatory or financial decisions: it mentions compliance and legal factors but gives no professional advice, which needs a qualified lawyer or accountant
Try asking
- “Identify the risky assumptions behind my idea for a meal-planning app for busy parents, and suggest a test for each”
- “Map the go-to-market and team risks for launching a B2B invoicing tool in the next six months”
- “Review this business plan file and list the assumptions I should validate first”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Describe the product concept, target customer and key feature idea in your request, since the skill is designed to work from those inputs
- Attach business plans or research files so the agent can ground its assumptions in your own material
- Treat the confidence ratings as prompts for discussion and validate the high-impact assumptions with real customer experiments
