What it does

This skill teaches an AI agent how to query Hugging Face's Dataset Viewer web API to explore public datasets. Once installed, the agent can check whether a dataset is available, list its subsets and splits, preview rows, page through content, run text search or row filters, and look up size and column statistics. It can also find links to the underlying parquet files. It also covers uploading parquet files or agent session traces to a Hugging Face dataset repo, which does write to the Hub.
