What it does
This skill teaches an agent to build another skill for a specific project. The generated skill launches the app, checks it is the right instance, drives one feature the way a user would (through a browser, terminal, or HTTP calls), saves screenshots, logs or responses as evidence, and then cleans up its processes without deleting the evidence. It also asks the agent to maintain a feature map of the app's user-facing features and to run the generated skill once end to end before handing it over.
Great for
- Developers who want a repeatable, scripted way for an AI agent to prove a web UI, CLI or service behaves correctly
- Teams in the Paperclip repo maintaining its feature and agent access maps
- Maintainers of projects that have no automated end-to-end check an agent can run
Skip it if
- Quick one-off checks where a normal test suite already exists, since it adds a generated skill and maps to maintain
- Running against a shared or production instance: the skill says to isolate instances, but driving a live user session can still corrupt data
- Projects where you cannot review the generated scripts, because the output runs commands and touches processes on your machine
Try asking
- “/create-verification-skill”
- “make a control skill for this repo”
- “Create a verification skill for our CLI tool so an agent can prove each command works”
- “Generate a verify skill for this web app that drives the login and checkout flows”

Add it to your agent
Claude Code (all projects)
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip create-verification-skill.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)
mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip create-verification-skill.zip -d .claude/skills/Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Point the agent at a sandbox or local instance, not a production or shared one, and review the generated cleanup step before running it
- Ask for one feature first; the skill itself recommends proving a single mapped feature end to end before expanding coverage
- Check the generated evidence folder after cleanup to confirm the proof survived
