What it does
Once installed, the agent can turn your branch's commits and code changes into a GitHub pull request. It works out the base branch, finds the related Linear ticket from the branch name or commit messages, writes a title in the format 'TML-NNNN: concise sentence', and drafts a description that explains the decision, the reasoning and how the pieces fit, following the Prisma project's PR template. It is written specifically for Prisma's own contribution workflow.
Great for
- Prisma ORM contributors who use Linear tickets and the TML- prefix convention
- Maintainers who want consistent PR titles and descriptions across the repo
- Developers who want the agent to read a diff and draft a reviewer-friendly PR body
Skip it if
- Projects that do not use Linear or the TML- ticket format, since the title and linking rules would be wrong
- Anyone wanting a generic PR writer without reviewing the output, because the agent may infer the wrong ticket or base branch and uncommitted changes will be left out of the PR
- Repositories without a .github/PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE.md, since the skill expects that file to exist
Try asking
- “Create a PR for this branch”
- “Open a pull request for my changes and submit them for review”
- “Draft the PR title and description for the work on this branch”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Check the inferred Linear ticket and base branch before the agent opens the PR, since it is told not to ask unless all sources fail.
- Commit everything you want included first; the skill warns that uncommitted changes will not appear in the PR.
- Review the generated description, especially the decision and the at-a-glance code sample, before submitting it for review.
