Continuous Learning v2
Lets Claude Code learn reusable habits from your sessions as scoped, confidence-rated instincts

What it does
Once installed, Claude Code watches your sessions through hooks that record prompts and tool use, then a background agent (Haiku) spots repeated patterns such as your corrections, error fixes and workflows. Each pattern is saved as a small 'instinct' with a confidence score, kept per project so React habits do not leak into a Python project, and promoted to global only when seen in 2+ projects. Mature instincts can be turned into skills, commands or agents.
Great for
- Developers who use Claude Code daily and repeat the same corrections across sessions
- Teams wanting project-specific coding conventions captured automatically
- Users who want to review, export or import learned habits
Skip it if
- People who do not want their prompts and tool outputs recorded locally, since observations.jsonl stores them (privacy concern)
- Sensitive or regulated codebases where stored session data could leak secrets, because the file does not describe redaction
- Users expecting deterministic behaviour: learned instincts are probabilistic and can be wrong if confidence is misjudged
Try asking
- “Watch my sessions and suggest instincts from the corrections I keep making”
- “Show the learned instincts for this project and their confidence scores”
- “Promote instincts that appear in multiple projects to global scope”
- “Evolve my mature instincts into a reusable skill for testing workflows”

Add it to your agent
Claude Code (all projects)
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip continuous-learning-v2.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)
mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip continuous-learning-v2.zip -d .claude/skills/Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Start by reviewing the generated instincts before evolving them into skills, and prune low-confidence ones
- Use project scope by default and promote only universal patterns to global
- Check the observations file location and retention periods before installing on a shared machine
