What it does

Once installed, the agent drafts social posts, threads, short-form video scripts, YouTube outlines and newsletters, and can adapt one source (an article, demo, or notes) into several platform-specific versions. It starts from your real material rather than generic formulas, follows rules for each platform, and checks drafts against a list of banned phrases and fake engagement tricks. It can also hand voice matching to a related brand-voice skill when consistency matters.

Great for

  • Founders or developers who want to turn release notes, demos or articles into X or LinkedIn posts
  • Creators planning a content calendar or a short-form video script from an existing asset
  • Marketers repurposing one piece of content across several platforms without copy-pasting it

Skip it if

  • Fully automated posting: the skill only drafts text and does not publish, so it does not replace a scheduler or review step
  • Situations needing verified facts without a source: it relies on the material you supply, and missing proof points are flagged as gaps rather than invented

Try asking

  • “Turn this changelog into a 5-post X thread with one claim per post”
  • “Adapt my blog article into a LinkedIn post and a 60-second TikTok script”
  • “Build a one-week launch content plan for our new feature with platform-specific drafts”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Content EngineInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 2 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    content-engine.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip content-engine.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip content-engine.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Provide real source material such as past posts, notes or transcripts so the voice stays authentic.
  • Ask for a voice profile first when output must match a specific author across several pieces.
  • Review any call to action yourself; the skill is designed to keep CTAs only when you approve them.
