What it does

When a feature works but needs visual or interaction polish, this skill starts the app's dev server and opens the page so you can browse it and say what could be better. The agent then makes focused fixes to the running page, letting hot reload show each change. You can also choose a live mode where you talk and draw on the page while a voice interviewer turns your speech into fix requests. When you finish, the agent saves the polish as local git commits.

Great for

  • Developers who want a second pair of eyes on UI details before shipping a feature
  • Designers or product people who can describe UX problems and want them fixed directly in code
  • Teams refining a pull request or feature branch before merge

Skip it if

  • Autonomous QA or full testing: the skill says it follows only the user's observations, not a generated checklist, so it will not find bugs on its own.
  • Work on the default branch: the skill is explicitly forbidden from working there, and it never pushes or opens a PR, so you must push yourself.
  • Live mode on sensitive screens: it sends screen content and voice to an OpenAI-backed interviewer and a local endpoint, and it adds a dependency and a setup commit that remain afterward.

Try asking

  • “Polish the checkout form on the current branch: spacing, error messages, and button states”
  • “Review PR 142 in the browser and fix the layout issues I point out”
  • “Start a live polish session so I can talk and draw on the dashboard while you make the fixes”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Polish Feature LiveInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 15 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    ce-polish.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip ce-polish.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip ce-polish.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Say clearly which changes you want and when you are done, since the skill waits for your observations and does not start reviews on its own.
  • Keep live mode for sessions where you are comfortable with voice and screen content being sent to OpenAI, and review the setup commit it adds to your branch.
  • Check the residual list and session log path the skill reports at the end, since some live requests may not have been applied.
