What it does
Once installed, the agent can choose an Apify scraper (called an Actor) suited to a social platform, run it against public account data, and summarise patterns such as follower profiles, engagement and comment activity. It asks you for output format and result count first, can show a few results in chat or save bounded CSV or JSON files, and is instructed to treat results as partial samples rather than verified demographics.
Great for
- Creators or brand teams wanting a rough picture of who engages with public posts or accounts
- Marketers comparing engagement quality across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook
- Analysts who already have an Apify account and want structured exports with a written summary
Skip it if
- Identifying or profiling individual people, or inferring sensitive traits from names, photos or handles (the skill itself forbids this, and it is ethically and legally risky)
- Private groups or non-public data, which the skill says must not be collected
- Budget-sensitive runs without checking pricing: the local row limit does not cap remote Actor work or billing
Try asking
- “Show me the top commenters and engagement patterns on this YouTube channel's recent videos, quick answer only”
- “Export follower profile data for this public Instagram account to a dated CSV, capped at 200 rows”
- “Compare engagement quality on my last 30 TikTok posts and summarise the main audience themes”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Start with a small input limit and confirm pricing and the Actor schema before any paid run
- Keep the .env file private and never paste your token into chat; if a run times out, check the printed run ID in Apify Console before retrying to avoid duplicate charges
- Ask for aggregate findings with the platform, date window and sample size stated, and avoid sharing personal contact fields
