What it does

Once installed, the agent knows how to work with Google Cloud's RAG Engine, a service that stores your documents in named collections called corpora so an AI model can look up relevant passages before answering. The agent can list your corpora and the files inside them, inspect a corpus, retrieve matching text passages, and generate answers grounded in those passages. It is instructed to use the Google GenAI Python SDK rather than raw REST calls, and to ask for explicit confirmation before any step that consumes model compute.
