What it is
oh-my-claudecode (OMC) is an add-on for Claude Code, Anthropic's coding assistant. It adds commands and workflows that coordinate multiple AI agents working on a task in parallel, such as planning, building, and QA stages. The README describes it as aimed at making Claude Code usable with little setup, though the exact behavior of each workflow is documented on an external site rather than in the portion of the README provided.
- Run /autopilot with a short task description such as building a REST API for managing tasks
- Define named autopilot stage profiles in a project config file to chain planning, execution, and QA stages
- Use /team to run a multi-agent workflow inside a Claude Code session
- Use omc ask to route a question or patch review to other providers such as codex or gemini
Great for
- Developers already using Claude Code who want multi-agent workflows
- Teams experimenting with parallel AI agents on coding tasks
- People who want a prebuilt autopilot command for building features from a short description
- Users comfortable with Linux or macOS-style terminals and npm
Not ideal for
- People who do not use Claude Code, since OMC is an add-on to it
- Users on environments without the flock utility who need named autopilot stage profiles, because those currently require Linux with flock
- Non-technical users who want a simple no-code tool, since setup involves slash commands, npm, and terminal use
How to get it
- 1
Install with a package manager
You'll need: Claude Code · npm
Install the plugin from the Claude Code marketplace (run inside Claude Code, one line at a time)
/plugin marketplace add https://github.com/Yeachan-Heo/oh-my-claudecodeInstall the plugin (run inside Claude Code)
/plugin install oh-my-claudecodeAlternative npm CLI install
npm i -g oh-my-claude-sisyphus@latestRun setup from your terminal
omc setup - 2
Run it
- Install the plugin or the npm CLI using the commands above
- Run /omc-setup inside a Claude Code session or omc setup from the terminal
- Start a Claude Code session and run /autopilot with a short task description
- Review the output the agents produce for your task
- 3
Get the most out of it
- Use named autopilot stage profiles via /autopilot --workflow to reuse a set of stages across tasks
- Put project-specific profiles in .claude/omc.jsonc and user-wide profiles in ~/.config/claude-omc/config.jsonc
- Use omc ask to send a question to another provider such as codex or gemini for a second opinion
- Run omc lookout scan before unattended runs to check for danger findings in the task briefing and workspace
Downloads
Strengths
- Installs as a Claude Code plugin through slash commands or as an npm CLI
- Provides both in-session slash commands and a terminal CLI with the same setup step
- Released under the permissive MIT license with an active repository and a large number of stars
Trade-offs
- Named autopilot stage profiles currently require Linux with the flock utility, so other environments are limited to legacy autopilot
- npm may print a deprecation warning during CLI install that comes from an upstream dependency
- The README is long and relies on external documentation and a separate reference file for full detail
