What it is

/brag is an agent skill you add to a coding agent such as Claude Code. You run it inside a project, and it produces a short launch video with music, motion, and share copy, saved in a brag-output folder. It hands the video building and rendering to the Hyperframes tool, while the skill itself decides the story, tone, and which moments to show.

  • Generate a roughly 20-second launch video for a website or app you built
  • Steer the tone with a prompt like a fake startup launch
  • Add narration with the optional --voice flag using Kokoro through Hyperframes
  • Get share copy and a composition brief alongside the rendered brag.mp4

Great for

  • Developers who want a quick promo video for a project they just finished
  • Makers who would rather not edit video by hand
  • People already working in Claude Code, opencode, or Codex CLI
  • Anyone who wants a playful or stylized take via the --tone option

Not ideal for

  • People who need full manual control over every frame, since the workflow is driven by the skill and Hyperframes
  • Users without Node.js 22+ or FFmpeg, since both are required
  • Teams needing a polished brand video, as the README describes a short, playful style rather than a tailored production
Step-by-step guide: how to use /bragInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

How to get it

  1. 1

    Install with a package manager

You'll need: Node.js 22+ · FFmpeg on PATH · An agent that supports Agent Skills, such as Claude Code

Install /brag for any other agent

npx skills add https://github.com/latent-spaces/brag --skill brag

    Install in Claude Code (marketplace)

    /plugin marketplace add latent-spaces/brag

Install the plugin in Claude Code

    /plugin install brag@brag

    Check the Hyperframes setup

    npx hyperframes doctor
  2. 2

    Run it

    • Install the skill with one of the commands above.
    • Open a project directory in your agent.
    • Ask your agent: let's /brag
    • Find the output in the brag-output folder, including brag.mp4.
  3. 3

Get the most out of it

    • Use --tone to steer the style, for example /brag --tone "fake Series A launch from 2016"
    • Enable narration explicitly with /brag --voice, since it is off by default
    • Run /brag --full to use the classic Hyperframes workflow on Opus 5.5
    • Try the hosted version at letsbrag.app if you do not want to run it yourself

Strengths

  • One command produces a video, music, and share copy together
  • Works across several agents through the standard skills CLI
  • Free and open source under MIT, with a hosted option at letsbrag.app

Trade-offs

  • Depends on external tools (Hyperframes, FFmpeg, Node.js 22+), so setup has several steps
  • The README does not describe output quality or rendering time in detail
  • A hosted version and a newer slim variant exist, which may make the workflow confusing at first
