Before/after transformation video prompt

Show a transformation (room makeover, clean-up, glow-up of a space or object) as a matched pair of shots with identical framing.

You'll need: An image-to-video model; start/end frame support helps

Fill in your details

Values are inserted into every prompt below. Nothing you type leaves your browser.

8 field(s) left — unfilled variables stay as {{placeholders}}.

  1. 1Generate matching before and after stills

Identical framing is everything. Generate (or photograph) the 'before' still first, then edit it into the 'after' with an image editor so the camera position doesn't change.

BEFORE still: {{framing}} of {{subject_before}}. {{lighting}}. Photoreal, aspect ratio {{aspect_ratio}}.
AFTER still (same framing and camera position): {{framing}} of {{subject_after}}. {{lighting}}. Photoreal, aspect ratio {{aspect_ratio}}.
  2. 2Animate the transformation

If your tool supports start and end frames, use BEFORE as the start and AFTER as the end. Otherwise animate each still with a tiny camera move and use a wipe transition in the editor.

Smooth transformation from the first frame to the last frame. {{transition_style}}. Camera: {{camera}}, framing stays identical. Duration {{duration}}.
Avoid: text, captions, watermarks, logos, extra limbs or fingers, warped faces, flicker, sudden cuts, camera position changing, objects melting into each other.

Example input

Cluttered home office to tidy oak-and-plants office, doorway framing, stop-motion tidy-up; 5s; 9:16.

Example output

BEFORE still: Wide eye-level shot from the doorway of a cluttered small home office with a dated brown desk and bare walls. Natural daylight from a window on the right. Photoreal, aspect ratio 9:16. AFTER still (same framing and camera position): Wide eye-level shot from the doorway of the same small home office, tidy, with a white oak desk, shelves of plants and a sage-green feature wall. Natural daylight from a window on the right. Photoreal, aspect ratio 9:16. Motion: Smooth transformation from the first frame to the last frame. Objects tidy themselves away in a quick stop-motion style, then new furniture slides into place. Camera: static, very slight push-in, framing stays identical. Duration 5 seconds.

Troubleshooting

  • The room layout changes between frames: create the AFTER by editing the BEFORE image (inpainting), not by generating from scratch.
  • Morphing looks gloopy: use a simple wipe or flash cut in the editor instead of generated morphing.

Known limitations

  • Before/after visuals for services (cleaning, renovation, cosmetics) must reflect real results; generated 'afters' can be misleading advertising.
