You give
One PDF file (up to 100 MB)
You get
Plain text, per page or for the whole document
Good to know
Works best with files under 100 MB (the upload cap); very large files depend on your device's memory. Only real text can be extracted — scanned PDFs need OCR, which this tool doesn't do. Text follows the order stored in the file, so columns and tables may need tidying. Password-protected PDFs can't be opened.

FAQ

Why is the output empty?

The PDF is probably a scan or made of images. Its 'text' is just pixels, so it needs OCR software to be turned into real text.

Why are some words joined or out of order?

PDFs store text as positioned fragments, not paragraphs. We rebuild lines from their positions, but multi-column layouts and tables can come out in reading order that needs a quick clean-up.
