What it does

This skill teaches an AI agent to examine a company or investment through the reasoning style of 12 well-known investors, such as Graham (deep value), Buffett (quality businesses), Munger (inversion, looking for how a plan could fail), Fisher, Lynch, Marks, Dalio, Chanos, Bogle, and others. Each lens is a fixed, ordered checklist with stop rules, and the agent runs it on evidence you supply, then reports which lens verdicts agree or conflict and why. It does not gather data itself and is explicitly framed as analysis, not investment advice.

Great for

  • Students or analysts who want to compare how different value and growth frameworks judge the same company
  • Investors who want a structured pre-mortem or second opinion on a decision they have already researched
  • People studying investment methodology who want an opinionated, repeatable procedure

Skip it if

  • People looking for a buy or sell recommendation: the skill states outputs are analytical exercises, not investment advice, and lens verdicts are conditional on the lens chosen
  • Anyone who picks the lens that gives the answer they want, since the skill's own process warns against this and the result would be biased
  • Fast-moving or unfamiliar markets where the lens's documented failure modes apply, such as fast-changing tech for Buffett or early-stage industries for Qiu Guolu

Try asking

  • “Run the Graham and Munger lenses on this asset-heavy company's balance sheet and tell me where they disagree”
  • “Apply the Chanos forensic short lens to these accounts and flag any accounting distortion”
  • “Use the Marks cycle lens to judge whether current market sentiment looks euphoric or fearful, using the data I provide”
  • “Stack Buffett and Chanos on this business and classify each disagreement by root cause”

Get better results

  • Gather and paste your financials, prices and disclosures before asking for a lens, so the analysis is not circular
  • Choose two or three lenses that can genuinely disagree, rather than lenses that agree by design
  • Read the failure-mode section of each lens and state whether your case falls into one of them
