What it does
This skill teaches an AI agent to judge a web page the way an AI answer engine might decide which passages to quote. The agent reads the page, checks for clear answer-first passages, self-contained paragraphs, structural formatting and fact density, then gives a 0-100 citability score with specific rewrite suggestions. It is a content-review skill, so the agent does its analysis by reading and reasoning about the text rather than by running a dedicated program.
Great for
- Content marketers who want their articles quoted in AI search answers
- SEO or GEO specialists auditing existing pages before a rewrite
- Writers who want concrete feedback on how extractable their paragraphs are
Skip it if
- Guaranteeing traffic or citations from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or Gemini: the score is a heuristic based on the skill's rubric, not a measured outcome from those systems
- Pages whose content is sensitive or private, since the skill may fetch URLs and write files, which could expose material if used carelessly
Try asking
- “Score the citability of https://example.com/blog/cdn-guide and list the weakest sections”
- “Rewrite the first paragraph of my pricing page so it directly answers 'what does this cost?'”
- “Check whether each H2 section in my draft article can stand alone as a quoted answer”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Give the agent a full URL or pasted text so it has the complete page to score rather than a fragment
- Ask for the score broken down by category, since the rubric weights answer blocks at 30% and self-containment at 25%
- Treat the cited research claims and word-count targets in the skill as the author's guidance, and verify them before relying on them
