What it does
This skill teaches the agent to act as a guide for extending itself. When you ask something like 'is there a skill that can do X', the agent searches the open agent skills registry (via the Skills CLI, npx skills find), shows you matching options with install commands and links to skills.sh, and can install a chosen skill globally and link it into the DeerFlow project's skills/custom folder using a bundled install script. Without it, the agent would not know this ecosystem exists or how to install from it.
Great for
- Developers who want to find ready-made skills for frameworks like React, testing, or deployment
- Users of the DeerFlow project who want to add community skills to their agent
- People exploring what skills exist before writing their own
Skip it if
- Users who do not want the agent to install third-party code: installing runs npx and downloads a skill package from a third party, and the skill's content is not reviewed here
- Offline or locked-down environments, since searching and installing require network access and the Skills CLI
- Simple tasks the agent can already do well, where searching adds delay for no benefit
Try asking
- “Is there a skill that can help me write Playwright end-to-end tests?”
- “Find a skill for reviewing pull requests”
- “How do I make my React app faster? Check if there's an installable skill for it.”
- “I need a skill that generates changelogs from git history”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Ask for specific keywords, such as 'react testing' rather than 'testing', to get better search results.
- Review the skill's page on skills.sh and its source repository before installing, since third-party skills can contain instructions and scripts that the agent will follow.
- Note that the install script suppresses npx output and installs globally, so check the result of the install and the linked folder if something seems wrong.
