What it does
When installed, the agent turns a concept, lesson, or slide deck into a multi-step learning session based on the Feynman technique. The learner explains the idea in their own words before seeing any standard answer, the agent helps locate the one or two weakest points in that explanation, and the learner rebuilds it through guided questions, strips out jargon, tests an analogy for where it breaks, and applies the idea to a new situation. It ends with a learning record and a goal for the next round. The skill also tells the agent to build the session on a separate stage-design workflow (create stage, roster, page-by-page generation, audio checks), so it is written for the OpenMAIC classroom environment.
Great for
- Students who want to check their understanding by explaining a topic to someone who has never studied it
- Teachers designing a teach-back or learning-by-explaining lesson
- Self-learners who want a structured explain-then-revise routine
Skip it if
- Requests for a general explainer about what the Feynman technique is, since the skill is for learning a concept through explanation, not teaching the method itself
- Users who only need an overview or quick answer, because the skill produces a multi-page interactive session that takes time to work through
- Situations needing real-time scoring of every typed sentence; the skill itself states that generated pages cannot diagnose live input dynamically
Try asking
- “Use the Feynman method to help me learn how photosynthesis works, starting with my own explanation”
- “Turn this lecture slide deck into a teach-back activity where I explain each idea first”
- “Design a classroom on supply and demand built around explaining to a beginner and transfer questions”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Give the agent the concept boundary, the audience you will explain to, and whether AI may give answers after several failed follow-up questions
- Write your first explanation before asking for help, since the skill depends on capturing your own version first
- Use source material such as slides as fact-checking input rather than expecting it to be shown as the first-page answer
