What it does
This skill teaches an AI agent a specific SEO rule: every web page should have its own unique meta description, the short summary search engines often show under a page's link. When you ask, the agent checks the HTML of your pages for repeated descriptions, flags pages that reuse the same text or copy the site homepage description, and drafts a unique description for each one within the recommended 50 to 160 characters. It also gives framework-specific advice, such as setting descriptions per route in Next.js or per post in WordPress SEO plugins.
Great for
- Site owners or SEO specialists auditing duplicate meta descriptions across a site
- Front-end developers reviewing how Next.js, Nuxt or CMS templates inject descriptions
- Content teams writing page-specific descriptions for many pages at once
Skip it if
- Sites with only a few pages where the audit adds little value; a manual check is faster
- Projects that need a full SEO audit beyond meta descriptions; this skill covers only this one rule
- Anyone expecting the agent to verify live Google snippets; the skill gives guidance and does not check search results
Try asking
- “Audit the HTML of my site's pages and list any meta descriptions that are duplicated”
- “Write unique meta descriptions for each blog post in this list, 50 to 160 characters each”
- “Review our Next.js metadata setup and tell me if descriptions are set dynamically per route”
- “Check whether our WordPress SEO plugin is falling back to a site-wide description”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Paste the page HTML or the list of URLs and descriptions so the agent can compare them directly.
- Give the agent your page content or topics so the generated descriptions match each page's intent.
- Review generated descriptions before publishing, since the agent cannot confirm how Google will display them.
