What it does
Once installed, the agent reviews your code for places where prices, numbers, or dates are formatted by hand (for example with fixed $ symbols or comma separators) and suggests replacing them with the browser's built-in Intl.NumberFormat, Intl.DateTimeFormat, and Intl.Collator. It also points out locale-sensitive sorting that uses plain string comparison. The goal is that your app displays money, numbers and dates correctly for users in different countries.
Great for
- Front-end developers building apps used in several countries or languages
- Teams reviewing utility functions, components or templates that display prices or dates
- Developers adding a new locale and wanting to find hardcoded formatting
Skip it if
- Single-locale internal tools where hardcoded formatting is acceptable, since the review adds work without benefit
- Back-end financial calculations or accounting logic, because the skill only addresses display formatting and not rounding or precision rules
Try asking
- “Review src/utils/format.ts for hardcoded currency symbols and suggest Intl.NumberFormat replacements”
- “Check my product card component for manual date formatting and show Intl.DateTimeFormat alternatives”
- “Find places in this codebase where sorting uses string comparison instead of Intl.Collator”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Name the files or folders to review so the agent focuses on the formatting code rather than the whole project
- Tell the agent which locales your app supports so suggested fallback locales match your needs
- Read the suggested changes before applying them, especially where currency rounding or display rules matter for your business
