What it does
This skill teaches an AI agent how to publish content to a WeChat Official Account (a popular Chinese publishing platform). It can take a Markdown, HTML, or plain-text article, convert it into WeChat-friendly HTML (turning external links into bottom citations), and post it either through WeChat's API or by driving a Chrome browser window. It also handles short image-text posts with up to 9 images, and it walks the user through first-time setup of preferences and credentials.
Great for
- Chinese-language content creators who publish on WeChat Official Accounts
- Editors who want to draft in Markdown and push to WeChat as a draft or post
- Operators managing several Official Accounts who use the multi-account setup
Skip it if
- Users who do not run an Official Account, since the posting targets require WeChat account access
- Anyone who wants to post without reviewing the result, because automated browser pasting and publishing can send wrong or unapproved content to a public audience
- Users on machines where they cannot grant Chrome or accessibility permissions, since the browser method depends on them
Try asking
- “Post this Markdown article to my WeChat Official Account as a draft”
- “Publish this image-text post with these five photos to 公众号”
- “Convert my blog post into WeChat-ready HTML and check my environment for posting”
- “Set up my WeChat posting preferences and default author”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Run the check-permissions script first to see which pieces (Chrome, clipboard, API credentials) are missing before publishing.
- Keep a draft review step: check the generated draft in WeChat's backend before anyone publishes it.
- Store API credentials in the documented config file rather than pasting them into chat, and use a dedicated Chrome profile for this skill.
