What it does
When installed, the agent can take a plain text or markdown article and reorganize it for easier reading: adding a frontmatter block with title, summary and description, improving headings, bolding key points, turning parallel items into lists or tables, and fixing obvious typos. It is designed not to add, delete or rewrite your content, and saves the result as a new file named with a -formatted suffix. Typography fixes such as spacing between Chinese and English text and quote style are then applied by bundled TypeScript scripts.
Great for
- Writers who have a rough draft and want clean markdown headings and emphasis before publishing
- Bloggers or newsletter authors working with Chinese, Japanese or mixed-language text who want consistent spacing and punctuation
- People who want the agent to propose several title and summary options for an article
Skip it if
- Content where you need the wording itself improved or rewritten, since the skill is restricted to formatting and typo fixes
- Files you cannot afford to modify: the typography-only option edits the original file in place with no backup copy
- Environments where running Bun, npx or npm packages is not allowed, because the typography step executes scripts
Try asking
- “Format markdown: take my draft notes.md and add headings and a summary”
- “Beautify this article for a blog and keep the original wording”
- “Add formatting to this plain text file and turn parallel items into lists”
- “Fix spacing and quotes in my Chinese article without changing anything else”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Choose the 'Keep original formatting' or 'Optimize' option and review the -formatted.md output before replacing your original, since the typography-only option overwrites the source file
- Create an EXTEND.md preference file to set auto_select options if you want fewer prompts
- Check the generated -analysis.md file to see what the agent thinks needs changing before accepting edits
