What it does
Once installed, when you paste an API request (such as a curl command or a method, URL, headers and body), the agent reviews it for obvious problems like a missing Authorization header, a wrong Content-Type, a malformed URL or a missing body. It replies with a one-line verdict or a single clarifying question. It does not send the request or check whether your credentials actually work.
Great for
- Developers debugging a curl command or endpoint call before running it
- Teams wanting a quick sanity check on request structure against a known API contract
Skip it if
- Testing whether a live API accepts a request or a credential is valid, because the skill explicitly does not execute requests or verify credentials
- Replacing real API tests, schema validation or security review, since it only inspects text and gives no guarantee the server will accept the call
Try asking
- “Check this curl request for mistakes: POST /orders with Content-Type application/json and body {"item":"shoe"}”
- “Is this DELETE /users request with a Content-Type header but no body correct?”
- “Review my GET /search request that puts the query in the body instead of the URL”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Paste the full request including method, URL, headers and body, and share the API contract or docs if you have them, since verdicts depend on the contract.
- Treat the verdict as a syntax-level check only; confirm behaviour with a real test in a safe environment.
