What it does
This skill teaches an AI agent how to use Aident Loadout, a hosted service that connects your everyday apps once and lets the agent search for, check, and run actions in them. Before doing anything that changes data, such as sending a message, the agent must show you the target and effect and wait for your approval, and it checks connection status and cost first. Every run is recorded in an audit log on the Aident side.
Great for
- People who already use Aident Loadout and want their agent to read or update connected apps safely
- Developers who want an MCP-based way to reach many SaaS tools with approval gates
- Teams that need an audit trail of agent-initiated actions across services
Skip it if
- Anyone who has not created an Aident account, since the tools will not work without one (the skill itself is only instructions)
- Sensitive or irreversible work you would not want an AI to attempt even with approval, because the hosted service is closed source and actions reach real accounts
- Simple questions the conversation can already answer, where the skill adds cost and connection overhead
Try asking
- “Find the open Linear issues assigned to me and post a summary in #standup on Slack”
- “How much would it cost to scrape these 20 pages?”
- “Check whether my GitHub account is connected to Aident Loadout”
- “Find a reusable research procedure in Aident's skills library and run it step by step”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Read the exact action, cost and approval prompt before saying yes; approval gates are the main safety control.
- Connect only the services you need, and disconnect ones you no longer use from the Aident dashboard.
- Ask for a cost preflight first on large or metered jobs to avoid surprise charges from your Aident balance.
