What it does

This skill teaches an AI agent to check how much website traffic comes from AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Copilot, using real analytics referral data rather than guessing from sample prompts. The agent looks at trends, finds which pages AI engines actually send visitors to, and compares them with pages that rank in search but get no AI traffic. It then suggests concrete changes to pages so they are more likely to be cited.

Great for

  • SEO and GEO/AEO specialists who want to know whether AI search is sending real visitors
  • Marketing teams deciding which pages to restructure for AI answers
  • Site owners who already use Google Analytics 4 and Search Console

Skip it if

  • Sites without GA4 or Search Console data, since the core workflow depends on those tools (the skill's own fallback also needs GA4 access)
  • Anyone expecting exact control over how AI engines rank content; the skill only observes patterns on pages that already get cited and does not guarantee citations

Try asking

  • “Show me how much of our traffic comes from ChatGPT and Perplexity this month versus last month”
  • “Which of our pages are AI engines actually sending visitors to?”
  • “Find pages with strong organic search queries but zero AI referrals and suggest how to restructure them”
  • “Do LLMs cite us? Give me an AI visibility report for our site”

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Connect the Ryze connector first and confirm the GA4 and Search Console tools appear before asking for a report
  • Ask for the top 2-3 cited pages to be read so the agent can describe the citation pattern concretely
  • Review the proposed page changes yourself before editing content, since the recipe is inferred from a small sample of pages
