What it does
This skill is a guide for setting up an automated software development pipeline where tasks live on a Kanban board and AI coding agents (Claude Code) pick them up, build, review, test and integrate code. It describes stages, quality gates such as type checks, linting and tests, cost tracking and recovery after crashes. The files only describe the design and workflow; the slash commands, cron script and worker runtime are said to live in a separate upstream installation that is not included here.
Great for
- Solo developers or small teams who already run a project on Asana, GitHub Projects or Linear and want AI workers to process tasks
- Engineers experimenting with multi-agent Claude Code workflows who can supervise and review the output
- People who want to monitor and override AI work from a phone via their board
Skip it if
- Anyone who wants a simple one-off coding helper: the setup needs cron, multiple terminals, board integration and paid model calls, and it can create tasks, merge code and spend money autonomously if misconfigured
- Teams that cannot audit AI-generated pull requests or enforce protected branch rules, since the pipeline is designed to produce PRs and merges with limited human review
- Non-developers, because it assumes familiarity with crontab, npm, tsc, eslint and git workflows
Try asking
- “Break this SPEC.md into atomic tasks on my Kanban board with dependencies mapped”
- “Set up the worker and orchestrator schedule for my project and show me the cost guardrails first”
- “Show me a health dashboard of every task's stage, retry count and accumulated cost”
- “Stop the pipeline gracefully and return unstarted tasks to the backlog”

Add it to your agent
Claude Code (all projects)
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip agentflow.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)
mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip agentflow.zip -d .claude/skills/Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Verify the upstream AgentFlow revision, license and scripts yourself before installing, and start with a small test board and low budget limits
- Keep a human approval step for merges and cost ceilings; the skill itself says board comments are untrusted input and actions require authorization
- Use the health command and board view to check progress, and run /sdlc-stop before changing configuration
