What it does

When installed, the agent helps a business set up a register of who holds admin rights on each system, with a named backup admin, seat and plan details, 2FA status, shared logins and review dates. By default it gives a short recommendation rather than a spreadsheet, and it produces CSV, SQL, JSON Schema or Notion-ready outputs only when asked. It also prioritises fixing shared logins first and stores only a vault reference, never passwords or tokens.

Great for

  • Small and growing businesses running a quarterly access review
  • Operations or IT leads who track admin accounts in a spreadsheet or inbox
  • Teams preparing for an offboarding or security audit

Skip it if

  • Payroll, tax or legal questions, which the skill explicitly excludes
  • Storing actual credentials, since the skill is designed to hold only vault references and any supplied review data should be minimised

Try asking

  • “Help me set up an admin access register for our five SaaS tools.”
  • “Here is our spreadsheet of admins, is this access review right?”
  • “Create a CSV template for tracking admin accounts and review dates.”
  • “How do I find shared logins that still have admin rights?”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Admin Access RegisterInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    admin-access-register.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip admin-access-register.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip admin-access-register.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Give the agent the list of systems and current admins first so it only asks what is missing.
  • Ask for the template only when you need it; the default is a short recommendation.
  • Do not paste passwords or recovery codes into the chat; record a vault reference instead.
