How to use the Prioritize Accounts agent skill

Updated · written with AI from the project's own documentation and checked against our catalogue data

The prioritize-accounts skill is a set of instructions that teaches an AI agent how to rank a salesperson's existing accounts or pipeline and say which ones deserve attention this week. It is aimed at sales reps deciding where to spend their time and at managers reviewing a territory or named account list. After this guide you will know what the skill does, how to install it from the ZIP, how to ask for it in plain language, and what it needs to run properly.

Prioritize AccountsXiaomiMiMo/MiMo-Code · MIT

Quick start

  1. 1Download the ZIP. Get the prioritize-accounts ZIP from the page where you found this guide.
  2. 2Unzip into a skills folder. Place the prioritize-accounts folder in ~/.claude/skills/ for personal use or in a project's .claude/skills/ folder.
  3. 3Or upload it in the apps. In the Claude apps, open Settings → Capabilities → Skills and upload the skill.
  4. 4Confirm CRM access. Make sure your CRM is connected, since it provides the account truth the skill requires.
  5. 5Ask for a ranking. Request a ranking of your existing accounts or pipeline, naming the owner, territory or list and what you rank by.
  6. 6Review the three sections. Read Suggested Focus, Monitor and Suppress Or Block, then check Evidence Gaps.
  7. 7Ask for a next step. Request a draft or a CRM correction for review on one selected account, without asking for bulk action.

What is an agent skill and what does this one do?

An agent skill is a folder of instructions and supporting files that an AI agent loads when a request matches the skill's description. This one is named prioritize-accounts and belongs to the Sales bundle of the MiMo-Code project.

When a salesperson asks which accounts to work on this week, the agent ranks their existing accounts or pipeline using current evidence such as deal value, timing, and recent activity. It suppresses or flags accounts that already have active outreach, identifies reachable contacts where the sources support it, and returns a short action view.

  • Suggested Focus: accounts to work now, with the reason they rose and the safe next step
  • Monitor: accounts with weak timing or a known trigger to revisit later
  • Suppress Or Block: accounts where a rep action would duplicate existing motion or lacks a credible basis
  • Evidence Gaps and Source & Run Details, so you can see what the ranking relied on

Install the prioritize-accounts skill

Download the ZIP for this skill from the page where you found this guide. Unzip it so the folder named prioritize-accounts, containing SKILL.md, is placed in one of the locations below.

For a personal setup, put it in ~/.claude/skills/. For a single project, put it in the project's .claude/skills/ folder. Alternatively, in the Claude apps, go to Settings → Capabilities → Skills and upload the skill there.

  • Personal: ~/.claude/skills/prioritize-accounts/
  • Project only: .claude/skills/prioritize-accounts/ inside your project folder
  • Claude apps: Settings → Capabilities → Skills, then upload

Connect the data sources it needs

The skill is built around your CRM. The CRM is the source of account truth, ownership, opportunities, stage, amount and contacts, and the skill treats it as blocking. Without CRM access, or without an account list already present in the conversation, the skill cannot establish the account universe and will stop there.

Other connectors are optional and make the output better: calendar, meeting transcripts, email, internal messaging, knowledge and files, and sales intelligence. The skill also refers to a Sales plugins/skills index file (plugins/sales/skills/index/SKILL.md) for shared practices.

  • Required: CRM access for accounts, owners, opportunities and contacts
  • Optional: calendar, meeting transcripts, email, internal messaging, knowledge and files, sales intelligence
  • Referenced file: plugins/sales/skills/index/SKILL.md

Trigger the skill with natural requests

You do not need a special command. Ask in plain language and the agent should match the request to the skill's description. The skill is meant for requests about an existing book, pipeline, territory, ICP list or account list.

Be specific about the scope when you can: name the owner, territory, pipeline view or account list, and say what you want to rank by. If you do not, the skill defaults to open pipeline deals weighted by deal value adjusted for timing, momentum, risk and actionability, with a mixed motion goal.

  • "Which existing accounts should I work on this week from my open pipeline?"
  • "Rank my territory accounts by where to focus this week."
  • "Which leads on this named account list are hottest, and what should I do next?"
  • "Give me the rep-ready next actions for my book, and tell me which accounts I should not contact right now."

Read the output and decide what to do

Each account appears in exactly one section. When an account has real work to do but also a constraint, such as a duplicate-outreach risk, it stays in Suggested Focus and the constraint is written into the recommended action. Accounts are only placed in Suppress Or Block when no rep action should be taken now.

The skill is read-only. It can recommend account actions, messages to draft or CRM corrections for review, but it does not send messages, create records or update the CRM unless you explicitly ask for that separate action and approve it.

  • Check the why-now reason before acting on a ranking
  • Look at Evidence Gaps to see which data was missing
  • Ask for a draft or a CRM update for review as a separate step

Safety notes: scripts and network use

This skill does not run scripts. It does use the network, because its work depends on reaching your connected CRM and optional tools. Review which connectors are enabled before you run it on sensitive account data.

The skill is designed not to execute outreach, create records, update CRM or send messages without explicit approval. Treat any recommended message or record change as a draft until you have approved it yourself.

  • Scripts: none run
  • Network: yes, for CRM and any connected optional sources
  • Write actions: none by default; require explicit user approval

What people use it for

  • A rep planning the week ranks an open pipeline by deal value, timing and recent activity to pick three accounts to work.
  • A sales manager reviews a territory or named account list to see which accounts need attention and which already have active outreach.
  • A team builds a recurring weekly worklist from the same account set, with accounts moving between Suggested Focus, Monitor and Suppress Or Block as evidence changes.
  • A rep checks which accounts should not be contacted this week because another seller or meeting is already in motion.

Frequently asked questions

Is the prioritize-accounts skill free to use?

The source does not state pricing or licence terms beyond the project licence, which is MIT. Check the MiMo-Code repository for the licence text and any costs tied to the AI product or CRM you connect.

How do I install the prioritize-accounts skill?

Download the ZIP, unzip it so the prioritize-accounts folder sits in ~/.claude/skills/ or a project's .claude/skills/ folder. You can also upload it in the Claude apps under Settings → Capabilities → Skills.

What do I need to run it?

You need CRM access for account truth, ownership, opportunities and contacts, which is marked as blocking. Calendar, email, meeting transcripts, messaging, files and sales intelligence are optional but improve the ranking.

Does it send emails or update my CRM?

No, not by default. The skill is designed to be read-only and to avoid outreach or CRM changes unless you explicitly request and approve them.

Can it find new companies to prospect?

No. The skill is for existing accounts and pipeline. For net-new company discovery or missing-data completion, the skill points you to the separate enrichment skill.

Why did the skill say it was blocked and not ranked?

Accounts are blocked when the skill cannot establish a credible net_new or expansion branch, a usable primary contact, or a defensible why-now signal. Missing CRM access without an account list in context also stops the ranking.

Our verdict

Use this skill if you are a rep deciding where to spend your week across an existing book or pipeline, or a manager reviewing a named account list, and you have CRM access. Pick something else if you need to find brand-new companies to prospect, or if you expect the agent to send messages or update records on its own.
